ADHD in midlife can feel overwhelming
Midlife makes ADHD feel louder.
You’re not broken - you’re navigating a changing landscape, and your tools need updating.
I’m Hannah. I specialise in coaching women and people with ADHD through midlife transitions.
When hormones shift, strategies that once worked can suddenly fall away. Focus slips. Overwhelm builds. Everything feels harder than it should.
Together, we’ll cut through the midlife fog and build a personalised toolkit that works with your brain, your hormones, and your real life - so you can feel clearer, calmer, and back in control.
How does coaching work?
You don’t need to arrive with a plan, a tidy list of goals, we start exactly where you are today.
Choose your path:
the discovery call: a one-off, 75-minute deep dive to unload the mental clutter and find an immediate way forward
ongoing support: a 6-session block designed to help you find your footing, quiet the chaos, and build a life that actually fits your brain
There are no rigid systems and no pressure to be anyone but yourself.
Whether we work together for 1 session or 6, the goal is the same: leaving you feeling calmer, clearer, and back in control.

Great question. Making sure you have the right kind of support is the first step to success. I’ve put together a quick comparison on my Coaching vs. Therapy page to help you figure out which service aligns best with your goals.

I believe in being upfront about investment so you can make the best decision for your budget. Costs vary depending on whether you’re looking for a one-off strategy session or a long-term support package. You can find my full price list and package details on the Services page.

Absolutely. Changes in brain chemistry, sleep quality, and life complexity during midlife can make ADHD symptoms feel much more intense. You aren't losing your mind; you're just navigating a new chapter. For a deeper look at why this happens and how coaching can help, check out my Midlife and ADHD page.

No. You don’t need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with me. Many people I coach are self‑identified, exploring whether ADHD fits their experiences, or are on a waiting list for assessment. Coaching focuses on how your brain works now and what would support you to move forward - not labels or assessments.
-
Yes - in a signposting and support role.
I can help you:
understand the different routes to diagnosis in the UK (such as NHS, Right to Choose, or private)
think through what questions you might want answered
cope with the emotional side of waiting, uncertainty, or self‑doubt
I don’t recommend specific providers or advise on medical decisions, but I can help make the process feel less overwhelming.
-
That’s completely okay.
Many people come to coaching with a sense of “something isn’t working, but I don’t know why.” We don’t need certainty to start. Coaching can help you:
understand your patterns
experiment with strategies
build self‑compassion and confidence
If at some point you decide to pursue a diagnosis, we can hold that alongside your coaching work.
-
Yes I can support you with understanding Access to Work and preparing for it.
Access to Work is a UK government scheme that can fund practical support (including ADHD coaching) for employed or self‑employed people. I can help you:
understand what the scheme is and what it may provide
reflect on what support would genuinely help you at work
feel more confident advocating for your needs
I don’t complete applications or make clinical recommendations, but I can absolutely help you feel clearer and more empowered.

You’re not alone - and you won’t be judged.
Struggling with consistency is often why people seek ADHD coaching. We’ll build support that accounts for real life, fluctuating energy, and messy weeks. Coaching is something we adapt together, not something you have to be “good at.”
